I have the worst memory ever and I haven’t ever touched the stuff.:rolleyes:

Smartest people I know do the stuff, I have done it  before. To tell ya the truth after I did,  boy my house was clean spotless. Sure helped with my eyesight too. Now I am back to wearing glasses again. My memory sucks too. Maybe it\'s the chemicals they put into it. Is sugar cande linked to brain damage as well. It is very interesting to shed light on though.

To say that the people around you are smart is only relevant to your own intelligence. Hence, if I having only one brain cell say that I have some very smart friends, my friends may only have two or three brain cells thus making them smarter than me.

Me having one brain cell is of course the reason for having never touched the stuff.

Hmmm... It says that Chronic Marijuana users suffer from short attention span, lethargy, and poor short term memory. See, that\'s why I\'ll only smoke Endo.

Well....DUH! When I used it and was high as a kite, I would be in a conversation where I knew what I was about to say....but forgot what I just said! Like...how did I get into this conversation? What did I just say?

What constitutes a "heavy" or "chronic" user? A dime a day? A oz a day? What?

What constitutes a moderate, or light user?

Besides, good ol\' alcohol is heaps more dangerous than pot.
 
You cannot smoke too much pot and die as with alcohol.
You can\'t get blind from pot.
You can\'t get scirrosis(sp) of the liver from pot.
Alcohol is proven to kill brain cells, while pot chemically combines with brain cells to alter memory. If use of pot is stopped the chemical bond will break down and the brain cells remain unharmed.

The current drug laws of maryjane are immoral.

More people die from prescription drugs than ALL illegal drugs COMBINED

That link from the site you posted. "at least 7 million people weekly" might be an exaggeration, That\'s a lot of smokers. Oh and we don\'t really know or will never know until it becomes legal the true figure since it is an illegal drug. How many conceilments are within that 7 million?

for every study that says canabis is bad theres another to say its good.  Yes, there are some bad affects of canabis, but smoking anything is bad for yur lungs. Smoking a stick is bad for your lungs, smoke = bad for lungs. However, canabis is no where near as harmful as ciggerettes, think of how many people die of them and they are legal. Canabis has healing properties, as well a pleasant recreational experience. Its time the goverments made it legal.

Nice try friend but the population to date is @ 286,573,918 people in the US alone. I\'m sure that even with your calculations, 7 million does not = 50%. Mmmmkay? Goooood.

Oh, and if you miss it the first time, the article states that 7 million people a week use the "drug" (I use the word drug loosely).

The study is skewed.

Only dumb stupid people can form a dependancy on pot.... or mental dependancy. Why? Coz pot is by no means an addictive drug like crack. There is no true "pot addict" in a chemical sense like heroin, cocaine, nicotine, alcohol, morphine...etc.

So for those who form a "habitual" or "mental" dependancy on pot....are people who were stupid to begin with :

high school drop outs who only want to keep smoking pot, low self esteem, lazy, don\'t care to learn anything, too dumb and lazy to hold a job long enough......

so yeah, with or without pot use, they would have flunked those memory tests anyway. Considering their lack of interest in a lot of things.
