Cats are useless.

Tell me the usefull things about cats.

Soft fur? They make the pet owners feel better? Dogs can do that too and THEN some.

I know the reasons why people get cats over dogs. The fact is, they\'re still not much use. I\'m not saying they\'re a waste of space. Heck, I owned turtles too but like cats, they\'re useless. Yes, people get dogs not for service but purely for owning an amusing pet. I won\'t argue with you on that issue. But still...........cats = useless. They have their purpose. And that\'s to be ones pet. That\'s it. Whereas a dog, it\'s a pet AND can be more!

I told you before, you can\'t argue with results.

You should watch the movie "Cats and Dogs".

Most of the dogs did they\'re own roles, very few animatronics. Cats....on the other hand....were mostly done by animatronics. Why? It would take ages for a cat to be trained to do one scene.

the arguement was never are cats better than dogs.. because i wholeheartedly believe that dogs are better.. for my needs..

but i have a grandmother who isnt energetic enough for a dog (of any size or kind) and who loves her cat to just sit on her lap for most of the day.. she finds comfort in having something like that to love

it has been clinically proven that a cat owner will not suffer from stress to the extent as a cat-less owner.. that includes owners with dogs.  

cats can offer companionship in different ways to dogs, they both have their pros and cons..

and why do you think that being able to be trained to do routines and simple tricks as a sign of intelligence?  dogs can be trained to fetch a stick, so they are more intelligent then cats?  bull ****ing ****.

Labrodors have the least amount of intelligence of any dogs, but they get the most important job of guiding a blind man through the city etc.  is this because they are smart?  no its because they are trained to do certain things.. trained..

just because cats are lazier than dogs does not make them less inteligent.. i would put my money on cats being moreso than dogs.. but hey.. who cares, its irrelivent in the end

cats offer companionship on a level that dogs cannot, and dogs offer companionship on a level that cats cannot..

And your point was that cats have never killed people and you\'re insinuating that dogs are generally more dangerous. But that\'s not fair to argue that since there are so many different type of dogs with unique personallity traits. This may sound strangely PC but you really can\'t generalize dogs since they are considered the mammal with the most varying breeds of any species and many of which have their own unique personallity.

Cats all pretty much come from a cookie cutter image : Small, docile, aloof yet affectionate, curious and lazy/useless.
