Hey. . . remeber when those cool peeps made a game with Psx2Central members in it?  That was neat-o.  They should do it again.  Or someone new should give it a whirl.

Well, I\'ve made a mini-mini RPG with some of members on this board in it. The humor is crude though. :)

I was working on such a game titled "Legacy of Emotion," but I had to quit development on it because I couldn\'t find a lot of free time to dedicate towards it.  I realize now that it was too ambitious of a project for me, and it would have actually taken me years to finish the entire game.

I released a demo of LoE a long time ago, and a few people seemed to enjoy it.  You can find some information and assorted LoE media at the official website, which was designed and (temporarily) mantained by Solid Snake 88, "The One" Billy Gunn, and Weltall.

But I\'d like to see some PSX2Central RPGs created by other people.  I\'ve always enjoyed playing the games more than making them.  :)

Well, if we want to get another project started, I have a ot of free time (only taking 2 classes this semester).   I\'m a crappy writer, so someone would have to come up with the story.  I don\'t have any sort of game-creator kit/program, but if y\'all would reccomend or send something my way I\'ll be more than happy to work on it.  We\'ll just have to keep our ambitions low, and settle for a "mini-rpg."  And then we could make tons of "mini\'s" continuing the story.  So. . . who\'s up for it?

Trog here\'s a start.

Grab a bunch of PSX2Central Hero\'s such as Bjorn, Soulgrind, Sammy, LIC, Weltall, SS88, vid(and log), myself and others.(sorry of the top of my head)

Remembering back, LOE was going to have about 70 playable characters, so don\'t go overboard.

Anyway, have the hero\'s go about their business, when all the sudden some of the biggest fanboys, trolls, and bashers of all time come back.

List of baddies...
  • Jumpman
  • Don de diamago (or something)
  • ReverandXBox
  • SegaCultX
  • TheOgodlything
  • Rammstein
  • Trinitus
  • Animal Mother
  • and others


They hack they\'ve come to destroy the village of(appropriately named) PSX2 Central, where our heros fight back.  In order to win the game you must defeat all the baddies...

along the wayn you\'ll meet the challenges of X-Box fanboys, throwing giant controllers at you like shot puts.  You\'ll also have to search underneath bridges to find trolls and take away their power...

then you must fight the ultimate enemy, William Gates.

It\'s dumb, I know, work with me, it\'s a spur of the moment type thing.

(BTW, I own an X-Box) :D

(BTW Again, I play it a lot) :)

(BTW One last thing, Bill Gates is pure evil :evil: )

My idea is that the guy you play as, you should be able to input his name so that everyone can be in the game if they play it.

But then if someone picks the name of someone in it already, like mm, then you might have to switch something up...

hmmm heres what i think we could do

use rpgmaker to make the game and all - since its pretty easy and its free program - thats what 182 ways did


then we should have not so much main hero but groups of heros all taking on different tasks at one time - in other words - you could have the game come in episodes like maybe one episode very two weeks - and each game would last about 2 hours or so - and each episode would follow oe switch between two groups of four main members


our enemies would be fanboys of course - there would be three kingdoms of them - sega fanboys - nintendo fanboys - microsoft fanboys - each being stronger then the others - in the order i just listed too - meaning sega would be least while xbox would be greatest powerhouse  - the kings of each kingdom would be picked according to the biggest fanboy for each system.

of course there would be our kingdom - Sony - which would have King Bjorn and his main knight MM and his main Mage Soulgrinder.

after this we could start to introduce members along the way - each group of four members could form from towns around the sony kingdom and some between the kingdoms where conflict occurs - of course then they all could meet at the sony kingdom to meet the king mm and seek service to join together and play the game - the characters wouldnt have much of a story involvment for all of them but a few main members would - like mods and members that have been around for sometime and what not

other members including noobs with potential could be put in as shop keepers and npcs in towns so they dont feel left out

. . . damn im flowing with ideas here - ive always wanted to make an rpg but im not sure how easy it is with rpg maker 2000

but you know what i might go ahead and give it a try sometime this week to see how easy - hard it is - so if i think i can do it ill let yall know

tell me what yall think of the idea so far though - then maybe would could have a poll or something to see whom the main playable characters would be - that way it would be far - but i wouldnt want more then maybe 24 main characters to say the least - because more then that is just crazy - i mean lets say there are 6 towns including the kingdom that contain members of the forum with problems in their citys that cause them to meet up and all talk to the king - see thats quite some work

so i say vote on members or members could suggest whom they would want to see and they couldnt suggest themselves

so what do yall think. . .?
