FF7 of course. I played others and they were all pretty good, but #7 was far from the norm. It had a revolutionary twist to it when it came out and that intrigued me. I plan on playing it again soon.

Final Fantasy 6 is my favorite...it had something to do with the character involvement.  I felt like I got alot of background with each character that has yet to be matched.  Absolute wonderful story...

Even though some will shun me for saying this, but I must admit I liked the 10 story the most, the 10 graphics the most, and the 10 level-up system the most.

Final Fantasy Tactics :) Realy a great story and the gameplay is so much better then rest of the FF games. Ohhh.... did I mention the music ? The music is excellent here :) Few FMV videos though, but doesnt matter that much realy.

My fav FF game is FF7! Its just how the story is, the world, the charcters, etc., Especially when Aeris died that had to be one of the saddest and most unexpected deaths in any game. Plus one of the most kickass bad guys in all games is in this game...yep its Sephiroth!

Closely in second would be FFX! The graphics were top notch in my eyes and the characters were great. I love how they incorporated a religion into this game and all the characters believed in it. There even was a song for their god!:)

Tough choice. I like almost everything about Final Fantasy 8.. the Atmosphere, the Characters, the Battles, the mini-games, the Story... the only thing it really lacked was a decent and despisable villan. Ultimecia and her "Time Compression" fixation was pretty jakey. Final Fantasy 7 takes the cake as far as villans and Storyline is concerned. Final Fantasy 6 should also be listed as a favorite, even though it\'s not quite as good in my mind as FF 7 & 8

So really, it\'s a tie between those two game. I don\'t like what I\'ve played of Final Fantasy 9 so far... and I haven\'t had a chance to check out FFX yet.. but I\'ve played all the others either as originals or translate Roms that I\'ve downloaded. I\'ve never been been a real fan of Final Fantasy though, so I guess my opinion dosen\'t count for much.

FF7 all the way.

FF7 is the most innovative.  FFX come a close second.  What ffx lacks is time and more innovation.

FFX will probably be there somewhere(since I\'ve just started with the game, so can\'t compare yet) but it\'ll not topple FF7 for numero uno spot.

I guess most people voted FF7 as the best ever anyway. :)

ive voted ff7, but ffx hasnt been released yet.......so it could change, ive just started ff6, but mgs2 has come out so ff6 will have to wait
