Best free internet e-mail service...

I tired of my yahoo account, too much junk.

Anyone got a suggestion on where I can get a new internet e-mail account?

I quit Yahoo to. I now use hotmail but it\'s not any better. Heh, problly worse actually, I get loads of junkmail and every day a new porno sight wants me to sighn up or something.

all free internet email is crap the only reason i use yahoo is coz the fact that i get my own webspace. u know u could try mail.com but i reckon that it would be no better than the others.

http://www.email.com works fairly well.  I\'ve been signed up for about a week now testing it out and there hasn\'t been any issues at all and my inbox is always empty (part of the test is not giving out the email to anyone until you can be sure it\'s ad-free).  The only gripe I have is it\'s weak interface.  Hotmail\'s is much better than what it was.

If you happen to have an American Express card of any kind, you can use their "Amexmail" service, which is provided by usa.net.  It includes features you\'d normally have to pay for at other webmail providers, but it\'s FREE if you have any american express card.  http://www.amexmail.com

I use hotmail, get virtually no porn links at all (still not sure whether thats a good or bad thing ) but whenever i do, i just block that sender

I\'ve been using mailcity for little over 8 years now, it\'s the only one I use so can\'t go wrong with it.

heh, well then u must be pretty lucky to not have recieved any porn links because my hotmail acount gets flooded with them, I wouldn\'t mind it if they were all free.

Yahoo mail has worked great for me.  I hate to tell you, but any junk mail you get is probably your fault.  I\'ve been using yahoo for well over a year, and I get absolutely no junk mail.  

What I did is I set up 2 e-mail accounts on yahoo.  I use one to sign up for things, and the other for personal use.  The one I use to sign up for things is now overflowing with junk mail, but the other gets none.  I\'d recommend just doing that.

If you like Star Wars then sign up with jawamail.com - They have regular drawings for free Star Wars stuff.

Hotmail. I have two accounts, Social one and Non Social one. So pretty much one if with friends, and the other is like colleges, education, contests, etc.
