First up, if this should\'nt be here, move it accordingly.
Now, some of you valiant members may recall me from the days of the N64CC forums. I did\'nt pick up until the maturity of the place, and rode through to it\' decline. Without that place i doubt I would possess anywhere near the internet staure I have today. But one underlying indicative message, which I feel I particularily felt, was that the place was\'nt going to last forever.
After about a year people started leaving, finding other places to spend their boredom on, leaving the rigid few to wittle at the newcomers, whilst admittedly working on side-projects. We stayed there, for really one reason, to start at the top. To begin at the head of the hierarchey in the new pastures. What am I talkin\' about? The Gamecube equivelent of the CC.
After a period of somewhat inactivity from the CC\'s site, we knew we were living in false hope. I\'m not blaming anyone about anything, don\'t get me wrong. We were\'nt that hurt as such, just felt the pain of it\'s death in addition to the rest.
No to the fun, or not so fun part. After an underlying realisation of it\'s non-existence, I channeled my thirst into a project of my own, entitled \'The Gamehouse\'. It covered everything from PSX to PC. As time progressed more and more games came out that needed to be done, but were\'nt worth the while. We did knock up a lock-a hits, but it was somewhat in vain. As summer ended and the schoolwork was rolling in I had less and less time for my labour of love.
Not only that, but I was finding, and was noted as of, my ignorance to mediocre titles on the PC and DC, and my total devotion to all things under the N.
Then sprung an idea. Why not create the GC-CC that never was. I needed a homely place to devote and worship my next-gen pick, and also to give me a basis for my carrer-path (In Gaming journalism, I hope).
I don\'t want to storm into it without quereing where my roots are at. Quite simply, i\'m asking if anyone with tags to the CC, adminastrativley or otherwise consider assisting me? Or anyone who just would like to get involved in the venture want to give an extra hand? I am somewaht confident I could survive by the skin of my teeth on my own, but tow (or more) heads are better than one.
If anyone has any damned notion or instinctive to any of the above, please, please say so. Without you, the gaming fans, the indusrty, and subsequently everything in it is totaally impractical.
The site will be called \'Cubed\'.
