PS2 Customization ?

Has anyone seen anything or tried to do any customization to their PS2s? I was just thinking about how people do it with their PC cases and was wondering if anyone had thought of or tried doing it with their ps2.

i customized my ps2 by hooking it up to my tv.

What do u mean with thier PC Cases, u mean adding things inside the tower or something? Very easy to do. Uh, I wouldn\'t risk trying to customize ur PS2 in some way, you\'ll problly just end up breaking it or something. There were these cool picks that someone showed not far back of a watercooled Xbox customization someone did.

PC cust. is really easy because there are a couple "bonus" power connections for lights and stuff.  PS2 doesn\'t have that, so most decorative modding need separate power sources.  The only thing I can think of is the Blue light-up FFX stand that you can get.  Otherwise, you might as well spend some cash modifying your entertainment center.

I did actually see a customised PS2, the only thing changed was the case tho, it was sort of see thru blue, it looked pretty cool, it invalidates the warranty tho, but what does that matter seeing as a lot of people here have had their PS2 over a year

mmh PS2 customization? Wouldn\'t have an idea to why I would do something like that. I would find a Xbox customization to be much more interesting.. perhaps trying to fit its motherboard into a PS2 case (or anything smaller than that Xbox case)... mmh yeah, I think I\'m on to something here...

I customized my PS2:

I added a string of Christmas lights, went to town with the Be-Dazzler and topped it off with a Crown air-freshener!!!

Now my PS2 is AWESOME, and by awesome I mean TOTALY SWEET!!!

Now I can TOTALY WAIL ALL THE TIME on ANY game!!!

Well I posted the watercooles Xbox thing, it was done by the guys over at [H]ardOCP.

I plugged a controler into mine. Its worked great ever since!:D

Hum i think i am going to add a Geforce4 TI 500, and also 128 mgb of memory on mine ps2.

Also i think i am going to change the cover of my ps2.  I was looking at the silver one, and looks awesome i will show you guys a picture of it, when i finish it with it.

Oh right i got go back to work with hooking up my ps2.  Later Guys!!!!

Surely adding a better graphics card will do very little as the games are only designed for use on a regular PS2 system. I may be wrong, but i dunno.

Just adding a better graphics card will not make the games look better, you are right about that one. I say anyone with intentions to make their PS2 put out better graphics feel free! Then when you void out your warranties and screw up the system by being a dumba$$ you can tell people who ask these stupid questions how much of a dumba$$ you were to mess with your PS2 and had to go out a buy another one.:rolleyes:
