Then where does the word courupted come into this? - Chrono
The word "Corrupted" comes from people hacking into Square\'s servers with their PC\'s in an attempt to change their item inventory/stats and screw things up, from Power Failures, From Virus\'s, from any one of a hundred different causes for data corruption. If corruption on a large scale (or even a small scale) happens, it could take Square quite a while to get things financially streightened out. That aspect hasn\'t been addressed yet. This is why I say I "
Need more information" before I can call this a good deal or not.
PSO is a Massively Multiplayer Online RPG. It\'s a different game than FFXI or EverQuest.. more like a subGenre of MMORPG, but that is still what it is. If you wanna quibble or fight, you\'ll get nowhere. Genre\'s are so screwed up these days anyhow, that can\'t just call one company a liar. They\'re all liars. Case in point.. Eidos with calling Tomb Raider an Adventure game.
when its 100\'s of time differnt/better - Chrono
That has yet to be determined, and really it\'s a matter of taste. Of what the gamer perfers in their RPG. IMO, the futuristic setting of PSO is more appealing than the Midievil setting of FF.. and RAcaseals are a far more intriguiging character class than any found in FFOnline. That\'s just my opinion though. PSO already has several strengths over FFXI, such as Billing, Chat, MultiLanguange preset translations, and (from what I\'ve seen so far) more intense and realistic Real-Time battles.
Not to say that FFOnline WON\'T be a better online RPG than PSO... but each has their own strengths and weaknesses which should be addressed instead of simply saying.. "It sucks".
