I thought I\'d post this so all of us here... - even the Xbox fans - can have a good laugh at the ignorance of others. Check around Sonyweb forums for even more shining examples of the brillance that is your fellow gamers. Not to say that the majority of posters there are ignorant or anything, but it seems the IGN fallout hit them pretty hard...

It is quite disturbing how many ill-informed people post there...

Biggest problem is they only have one Mod, Luna.  One member posted some extremely racial threads and they didn\'t get removed for several hours...

That place went downhill way before IGN went insider only...I\'d say about a month or so after the DC was announced dead, most of the more respected members left or didn\'t post as much and the forums just died.  It has recently started to pick back up...

She does a helluva good job there too, considering just how many forums and members she has to look over. I agree, I just hope things get back to the way they used to be before the forum took a nosedive. Wish I wouldda posted there sooner, but since I was unwilling to change my username, I figured noone would take me seriously when posting in the Sega Forums.

Seriously I hate people that debate consoles and have no technical knowledge what so ever, or any computer that is, when people compare cpu\'s by only measuring Mhz is something I cannot forgive, people don\'t seem to understand that the PS.2 has a more shallow pipeline than the PIII if I remember correctly the ps2\'s mips cpu has a 6 stage pipeline, while the PIII has a 12 stage one, so the PS.2 does more calculations on every clock rotation than the PIII, coupled with the PS.2\'s fpu performance and you\'ve got one heck of a machine there.

I haven\'t been there and guess what, i am not going there either.
And i think the only way you will know which console is more powerful, is by being a developer, and knowing each console inside out, to get the best out of it, that is the only way you can tell.
But i really don\'t think we will  ever truly know the answer to that question"Which console is the most powerful", so why do people keep bring that same question, i wish they would just let it rest, and just play the games, and enjoy them.
