Did anyone see that show on TBS (or was it TNT) with those 2 assholes, the fat guy and the skinny guy, who said that anyone who liked FFX was stupid? I hate that show. Bastards.

The realer the game the better, just because snake showed emotion when he was getting tortured, doenst make him bad, and in that case why have both MGS and MGS2 out sold syphon filter, must be because of the characters, or the graphics or gameplay. People don\'t want pure fantasy anymore, they want realism, so they can feel like they are the one in the game.

You make great points, but do we really have to point out the differences in "realism" in the universes of both games? Giant robots, cloning, gene splicing, and what about Psycho Mantis and VAMP for cryin\' out loud? I think that a deadly virus is a lot more believable. When I think about it, both games are great because Syphon Filter has it\'s realism, and MGS has it\'s never-could-happen-but-thats-why-we-love-it style. Oh, and the graphics for MGS2 are incredible.

Tom G, you can\'t "make" a virus like in syphon filter. The virus was made by scientists. I don\'t think that is possible to do. That doesn\'t seem to realistic to me making a virus from scratch.

EDIT: They are only games, don\'t think too much into them. Just enjoy them for what they are.

Hey, I never said that Syphon Filter COULD be made, I just said it was more believable than MGS\'s storyline. For the record, I love both games. I\'m not biased to Gabe or anything, I just think he\'s cooler, thats all. Here\'s a little tidbit of information you might not know; Syphon Filter was not created by scientists, it was extracted by them from some mines where it was discovered. Remember Lawrence\'s level from SF3?

I like them, if you liked 1..Id say its worth it. The 2 player modes in each are pretty damn fun.
