I meant Australia--in a rush.

What for a system that is from a new company to the gaming market, and hasen\'t got a console that has a well know name worldwide!!
So what is your point agian?

Dude i would like to know how well the PS1 sold in Australia in the first 3 months, and i bet you that it was the same sort of numbers, so i wouldn\'t laugh at the xbox just yet my friend, i would give it a while yet.
On the 15 of March 2002, i was going to leave these forums for good.
But on the 16 of March i realised i couldn\'t ever say bye to you guys, so i am staying here for good!

Do you know that 1 in 5 people own a PS1 in Australia? That equals about 4 million consoles sold in Australia alone since its launch, and remember, Australia only has a population of around 22 million.

Xbox is as well known worldwide, and indeed Australia as the PS2 is..

and apart from that, there are well more than 100,000 educated gamers in Australia that if they saw fit to get an XBox, could get one..  you make it sound like the only people that bought the console were those that have heard of it..

But it\'s not a name brand.  They know and trust Sony, give MS some time.
