WRX..the greatest show on ice!!!!

These pictures have been around for a few months.  I saw them posted on a different forum, and heard a little about the accident.  I think this happened in Bosnia or someplace like that, and the car is a WRX STi.  The driver escaped unharmed.

What a dumbass.  Won\'t see my WRX in the lake.

That seriously has to suck! Poor WRX STi:( Such a nice car goes to waste...but i\'ll still take that damn car even if it was just floating on ice!:D

DAmn, that car is fine.. is there any way they can get it back into running condition?  or is it impossible cuz the intake took in the water? did he turn it off?


tons of questions, but probably the only guy that would know would be the guy that owns it.

getting it running would be no problem. just swap in a new motor or new internals. thats even if the motor hydro-locked. A new interior would be due though

I live right on a lake in Wisconsin and i swear to god, at least once every winter this happens.

when we hear a helicopter outside we know to go out and watch them pull billy bobs truck out of the lake.

never seen a car like that go down in my lake though.

but then again, the bumpkins around here dont drive those kinda cars.

I dont blame them to be honest..ice racing is very fun, its just that these dumbasses should really check the solidity and thickness of the ice before placing 3500lb vehicles on it

no no no you got the wrong idea...

I live in Wisconsin... these morons dont race, they drive thier big-ass pickup trucks out on the lake to fish... cause they are too lazy to walk 50 feet out onto the ice.

they sit there right next to thier truck, on thier little plastic barrels, with thier teeny tinny fishing poles, and then when the ice starts to crack they run for thier lives and watch as thier car slips into the mighty depth of Camp Lake.
