Da good ole\' Days
« on: March 18, 2002, 05:31:52 PM »
This thread is for all the oldies of us that have been \'round awhile.(you know who you are)
Tis\' dedicated to all the great times weve seen with fanboys, (remember segacultX? ethugg? oh there are many more) and to some of the funny ass things these boards have seen over the days.  its fun to look back on the good ole days and laugh, so why not?!

come in, share your stories, and lets have a jolly good ole\' time!

I remember back in the day when me and joyda had just started posting. sega cultx was rampant and he had the lamma pic or somthing.. it was great.  i remember i tried to argue about some little thing like disk space and wrote liek a frickin essay.. me and hawke and some other dude had a little fight, i was right in the end though! i swear! the gamecube did have less capacity with a smaller disk!!! i am sooo good.!

oh yeah and jumpman... dont even get me started. remember him?
IM BACK. you have a problem with that? get in the back.

I remember when I had a thread "If you could bomb a country who would you bomb."

People didn\'t like that thread.  I thought it rocked.

I remember our most emberassing moments thread.  Need I say more?

I remember when Lucas Biggins had some gal problems many moons ago.

I remember when Bladez had them too.  That should probably be in the present.

I remember Hollywood25 and when he asked everyone where the on/off button was on the PS2.  This was before he got it.  He was so excited to get it that he wanted to know early where the button was.  Oh yeah, and he also read the manual to some game many many times to learn it before he got the system.  Man that kid was a dork.

I remember the many many cool things that I wrote.  Gosh, I\'m pretty darn funny.
I wear a necklace now because I like to know when I\'m upside down.

I miss the Fool\'s Archive... a collection of all the stupid and ignorant posts which made us all laungh. Too bad it wasn\'t broader, since I only remember one poster ever having his stuff added to it. I think we should reopen it, and dedicate it to that very special troll. "Jumpman\'s Fools Archive"

I remember the forum wars we\'d have with TeamXbox, SegaWeb, and NintnedoNation. Seems like, aside from TXB, we won since most of those forums are in shambles now. (Not because of us, they just fell apart on their own)

I remember how badly RevX trashed the PS2... until he got one. It was funny watching him talk about how great it was for about two weeks until he "Sold" it and then started back up with his Xbox is going to own you all triad.

I think Faithdies and I still hold the record for the longest thread between just two members. It was a "Favorite RPG" thread where we got off on a QFG tangent and aside from 2 or 3 filler posts, we streached it out to like 5 or 6 pages long.

I also remember back when Bjorn and Aaron were regular posters here.....

Reverend XBox claiming that the Indreama was going to win the console wars, and started a thread and writing up a whole article about how it would..

i still have that thread saved on my computer.. Ddaryl had 300 posts at the time, and the forums were brown..

hahaahh funy ****.  i remember that one "contest" where we were chosen as a forum and teamxbox and nintendonation were gonna have a face off. that one dude came in and ryu was gonna be our main participant...  and what was it in the end? a way to promote their freaking website!!!!!!!!!!!

what a joke..

I remember the thread " what do you think your fellow posters look like" or somthign like that... luke had the halo, and  we got a lot of hilarious pictures off of the net... god that was hilarious

"What sexual positon makes the ugliest children? ask docwiz\'s mom"

- i dont know whose sig that was but it was the best sig i have seen so far. every day it made me chuckle.

I also remember RYU\'s thread about how its soo much better to be a casual gamer. it was sooo long, but after i read it  i felt much smarter.. it kinda opened my mind.

Oh yeah and bossieman\'s religion threads... i remember eviscrationx talkign about how he has become a "changed man" ever since he saw the light and that ****... bossiman was busy proving that god didnt exist.. those got to be pretty long, such as one of the threads in the offtopic right now. bout pretty much the same topic..

oh yeah and there\'s more, im just gonna wait for ya people\'s input
IM BACK. you have a problem with that? get in the back.

I was here a while back as PSX Junkie.

I was alot younger and alot more imature then. I remember the last night I spent in the forums was the night I was leaving my mom\'s to go live with my dad. We were fighting and she was being a b!tch. I was going to write ya a farewell letter because I thought that would be the last time I spend in the forums. After things not working out w/my dad I found myself back at my moms. I had been thinking about these forums alot for about a year or two later and vola, I pop up again.

Before sighing up again I remember visiting the Forums off and on as a guest. I remember coming in and seeing Ddaryl as a mod one day, I thought that was really cool cuz I knew he\'d be one of the first out of the ppl that joined up around the same time I did to be one.

I also remember when Bjorn and Aron posted alot. I remember listening to Soulgrind on voicechat also, and he has a very disturbing Australian accent by the way.

I remember I first came here, just after the release of the PS2. Trying desperatly for help on where to find one.

I got one thanks to this forum. Somebody started a thread that they were at walmart.com and i went and got one. they sold out in about 30 seconds too so i was at the right place at the right time... namely here. and you jerks have been stuck with me ever sense.

I also remember that time Falcon4 started that thread about "the good ol days" or something.... wait a minute. nevermind.

I dont remember much.... thats why they call it dope i guess.
