any of you guys have an y idea why nissan is so stupid and did not put the skyline in america? is it just emisions? or is there somthing more.? i hear they are putting the engine in the q body, taking out the turbo, and  making it a 250 hp family sedan... is that right?

and when is the evo6 coming to america!!!!! im dying over here!

from what I hear, the R35 will be in the states, from what ive seen, looks like ass, compared to r33 and r34\'s.

The reason it was never brought to the states like alot of other cars. Emissions and safety standards werent up to par.

Heres a picture of a 2002 dodge viper, the 2 are similar but IMO 2003 dodge viper  is a nicer car.

That car is hidieous.  It screams rice.  I would take my 2001 Volkswagon Jetta GLX over a suped up Neon anyday.  Look at that idiotic wing on the back!  The car is FWD... are they trying to force the front wheels OFF the ground?  

The interior does look nice with the brushed aluminum pedals and stuff, but otherwise its just a tacky Neon.  I don\'t care if it could leave the earths atmosphere and it was so fast it could drive across water.

US version of the Skyline = Infinity G35

To put it plainly Japan has a lower emmisions standard than the US because they are on an island and everything gets blown away rather than hovering above populated cities or being trapped by mountains.  I don\'t think this justifies allowing more pollutants, the emmions will end up somewhere.

That "allpar.com" site was asking people not to post their images to protect their bandwidth not for legal reasons.  Right or wrong, I find those kinds of requests ULTRALAME.  If you\'ve got content you want people to see, and you post it on a webserver, you should back it up with a little investment in bandwidth, or else remove it.

I\'ll go along with your decision to remove the link, but we should at least have one picture of the car in this thread.  Here\'s one from a different source:

WHy don\'t you elaborate instead of just spewing it sux like a 5 yr. old. You said in a previous post that it screams rice, you obviously do not know the definition of rice. in short.."the look or display of speed or products which is lacking" That car is not advertising any stickers...and it backs up its look..so by definition it isnt ricey. That is a term ppl use wayyyy to often and wayyy to loosely.

I have always disliked the oval headlights of the Neon; I think they were included to make the car look "cute" back when it was nothing more than another compact economy car.  Now that they\'ve added the new body panels, I think they\'re taking it in the wrong direction.  The grille is obviously meant to remind you of the Viper, but I didn\'t like it on the Viper either.  It looks like the moulding on a toaster or something.  The hood scoop is really corny if it is indeed fake.  It looks to me like it\'s too small to server any real purpose, so I\'m guessing it\'s fake.

If I were considering this car, I\'d save $5,000 more and buy a WRX instead.

First of all I am entitled to my opinion.  Secondly, that car is tacky, the color for one... not that yellow is a bad color, but on a Neon?
Oh yeah its a Neon, that says it all.  Finally, that wing.  Its not the worst I have seen, but it is absolutely pointless.  A smaller one would have done the job.  

Whomever posted that they wanted to save up to buy the car is a fool.  You can get a much better car, not as fast but who cares?, for that price and not be seen driving a vehicle whose main advertising slogan was a :)  HI!

Basically it was a waste of money building that car, there are other cars they could have chosen, but they didn\'t.
