Yes, they finnially decided to revamp tomb raider, and make a decent game.. considering these screenshots are "very early in development" holy crap!

"Smith says that Core has been working on the game for nearly a year and a half and that it won\'t be ready until the holiday season later this year"

Here are some screens,

I was looking through alot of thos pics on the sight and this seems to be Lara\'s version of Metal Gear Solid. A couple of pics showed her sneaking behind a guy and breaking his neck..I think this game will prove to be worth my time.
It\'s only funny until someone gets hurt...then it\'s hillarious.

What the hell are you talking about ddaryl? I would think most people would be happy with just a little originality in the Tomb Raider series... forget the rest of the Action/Adventure genre. One step at a time..

If the new Tomb Raider turns out to be a MGS clone, then it\'s a step in the wrong direction. Then again, there\'s only so many times you can rip off ideas from Indiana Jones before you run out of material. I swear, if you cut and paste scenes from TR together just right, you can actually remake the entire trilogy in 32bit polygons.

And that\'s not even getting into the gameplay. It was fun in part one.. started to get old in part two... and those were it\'s peaks. It\'s just been downhill since then.

The first TR was the best ever. It had a fresh new look at the way a game should be made at that particular time. However, this is another time and as far as I am concerned, any change to the present game play would just be fluff on the cake. The cake though has been stale since the second TR. You can wrap it up, slap a bow on it and call it what you want but it’s still old news here. If the graphics are good though and the game resembles the first one a bit more than the other trashy sequels, it will more than likely get my attention.

I like the new style.  I wonder if we will be able to switch the camera angles.

I actually liked TR2 best. TR1 was also good, TR3 was ok, nothing new though. I never cared to try TR4 or 5 ... This one looks better (and it should do)..... but it is far from the best game I have seen lately. It doesnt impress me much realy.
MM told me to have a 5 line signature. I count now
