Yep, I must say, all girls dream of dying while choking and being gang-raped.  

I was watching one of those cheesy stunt shows several years back.  It was some guy who put himself in a glass coffin, was lowered into the ground (several feet, maybe 6?), then had cement poured over the coffin.  After a couple minutes, you saw a huge bubble erupt through the cement, obviously indicating that the glass had broken.  The crowd starts to panic and they have a backhoe standing by to dig next to the original hole in the ground.  After another minute or two, they finally dig him out.  Yeah yeah, oh cynical ones (mm), it probably WAS a staged publicity stunt, broken coffin and all, but I would HATE to die, or even experience being trapped under several feet of cement.

There was this form of torture where they would hang the person upside-down, and take a saw and saw them down the middle.

The reason they had them upside-down is so that the blood stayed in their brain, so that they would live longer and feel more pain.

That would not be a good way to die.

For me personally, being buried alive would be the worst for a few reasons.

• I\'m claustrophobic. I cannot stand any type of closed in spaces. I think a coffin would qualify as a closed in space.
• You control how long you live. If you panic and waste all your air, you die sooner. If you lay there in the dark, you live longer .
• There is something about being six feet under the ground, complete dark and no one can hear you screaming and clawing your way out of the coffin. There is a certain desperation and final acceptance of death. Or at least, I imagine there would be. Something most other forms of death don\'t allow, at least not to the same degree.
• The thought that you are under the ground alive and all your family assume\'s you are dead. Yet you\'re alive, at least for alittle while, until you do die completely alone. Durin\' that time, I would imagine you would think of the many things you wish you would of said or would say if you got out alive. Then , you realize you\'ll never say them and you\'ll be stuck six feet under, in a coffin for the rest of time.

I don\'t know, just being buried alive freaks the livin\' hell outta me. It isn\'t death that scares me, its the cause of death.

I\'ve thought of another one - this is a good one!  I know someone here has read the short story, "The Jaunt" in Stephen King\'s short story collection, Skeleton Crew.

It\'s the future - a scientist has just created the first transporter technology.  Consists of two portals - walk into one portal, come out the other.  The scientist uses lab mice before human subjects, but the mice keep coming out dead, or nearly dead.  He figured out that you must be unconscious in order to successfully "Jaunt".  Several years later - convicted felon is offered freedom if he\'ll go through the Jaunt while fully conscious.  He goes through, comes out, hair is white.  He says, "it\'s an eternity in there."  Apparently, while it only takes the body a fraction of a second to pass through the portals, it takes the mind many many years, possibly millions?  When the mind finally does catch up with the body, it\'s such a shock, that you either go insane, or die, or both.  That\'s my #1 worst way to die.  Stuck in la la land, with just your mind to keep you company, for an eternity.

Trog reminded me of another one.  Edgar Allen Poe\'s Pit and the Pendelum.  Huge sharpened pendelum swings toward a body laying directly under, and parallel to the swing.  Pendelum drops an inch or so every swing, thereby slowly slicing the body.  Ouch.

I saw that in a play once!  They did a collection of Poe\'s work.  They had a gigantic pendulum/skythe swing back and forth. . . it was awesome!

Hook up an IV with a valve on it so that it drains your blood slowly, just slightly faster than your body can reproduce it. then pump it so that it drips on your own forehead....

The only problem with that is if they\'re a vampire, they\'d just drink it back in as it drips down their face.

How would you like it if someone told you early in your life how you were going to die.  Say, when you turn 21, they show up at your door, pull out a clipboard, and tell you how you\'re going to die.  

"Hmmm, you get a nice traditional one!  Torn by dogs.  Have a nice day!"

I\'m surprised that no one has said this yet, but i personally think that being crucified is the worst way to die. Just imagine getting you hands nailed on each side of the cross and then your feet nailed on top of each other on the lower part of the cross. Then you are there for a long time just waiting to die. i also heard that when crucified you have to pull yourself up to breathe.:eek:

I have a few that i conider pretty bad ways to die:

Being paralyzed and gettin slowly eaten away by maggots

Trying to kill yourself, failing, and then dieing slowly due to injuries

Choking on your on Vomit/Tongue after a heavy night out

Cancer

Just thought of a stupid way to die... But would suck..


Killed p!ssing on an high-voltage electric fence.


Electric fence as in the fence in Jurassic Park... THAT would suck.
