Britney has been booed as she arrived at the UK premiere of her debut movie \'Crossroads\'.
The star turned up an hour late to the bash in London last night, and got a frosty welcome when she refused to sign autographs. Instead she just stood and waved at fans from a balcony inside the cinema.
But she didn\'t seem to have heard the crowd\'s reaction: "I had no idea all these people were going to come - this is so sweet and so flattering."
\'Crossroads\' opens nationwide on Friday.

here some more
Britney Spears was booed by fans after the star failed to sign autographs before the British premiere of her debut film. The 20-year-old singer enraged thousands of people who had waited for hours in London\'s Leicester Square by failing to go on a walkabout or sign autographs before the start of the film.
Sporting a backless, halter-neck silver sequined dress, Britney arrived almost an hour late for the premiere and was then immediately ushered inside by security staff.
Chanting her name
The 3,000 fans who had gathered began booing and chanting her name, and although she made a brief appearance on the cinema\'s balcony, many were left in tears.
Jane Willis said she had travelled with her daughter Gemma, 11, from Chingford, Essex, to see the star.
She said: "We\'ve been here since 3.30pm. Gemma\'s crying her eyes out because she couldn\'t see a thing. How does Britney expect people to go and see her film if she can\'t be bothered to say hello to her fans."
Six-hour wait
Fran Handley, 16, of Uckfield, East Sussex, said she had waited for nearly six hours in the hope of getting an autograph.
"All I saw was a flash of sequin and that was it. It wasn\'t worth my time."
