Luigi\'s Mansion
« on: March 26, 2002, 11:09:52 AM »
I bought a Gamecube about a month ago and bought Luigi\'s Mansion with it, but I never actually picked it up and played it until this past weekend. I have been busy playing High Heat 2003 and Halo.

My impressions so far is that this game is a lot of fun. I am having a really good time playing it. Does anyone else own this game? What are your impressions? I think I am about half way through the game now. Some of the ghosts are really funny. I liked the bodybuilder ghost that you have to hit with the heavy bags.

Luigi\'s Mansion is a fun and fairly innovative creation from Nintendo.

But that\'s not why it gets lauded by the press. It gets lauded mostly due to near-zero replay value.

Once you beat it, there\'s almost no reason to play it through again.. unless you really like the gameplay.

That\'s what I was (still am) going to say, Blade.

It was great while it lasted but after beating it once I never had the desire to play again.  A kind of wanted to try for more money (gets you a barely modified ending) but I didn\'t, besides I had lots of other games to get to.

I really liked the game. Almost everything in the game was interactive. Luigi\'s nose bounced when you walked. Some gohsts were awsome. The only thing that dissapointed me with this game was it\'s leangth. It was overall a very short game.

it was still pretty good besides the length.
