I purchased the game last night and played it for a good five hours or so. I haven\'t been to the local arcades lately, so I don\'t exactly know how it compares to the arcade version, but I must say, I\'m hella impressed. Its a very nice looking game.
I mean, its a very nice looking game.
I tried the P-scan feature, and it makes the game look bright, the image crisp, and it shows vivid colors. The only problem was that my television is a 16:9 widescreen, and for some reason, when I run p-scan mode, I can\'t use 4:3 or anything else, and the picture comes out a little elongated, so I got a little motion sickness while playing the game.
The differences between P-scan and Interlaced are very noticeable. Interlaced, the picture isn\'t quite crisp. There aren\'t any problems with jaggies and shimmering as did TTT, but in Interlaced it looks like a pretty good PS2 game. However in P-scan, it looks.... better than a good PS2 game. I dunno how exactly to describe it.
Game wise, I dunno, people here probably play the arcade version, so you probably don\'t need much input there. But I do like the fact that they have some voice acting in the ending scenes, and that you get a little bit more story in the story mode instead of the weird endings that were found in TTT. Makes the game a tad bit more interesting.
