It does not appear RE was a huge impact on the Gamecube sales, only mustering about 30k consoles (increase of 24k from last week)

Problem with XBOX is that they need to get their prices down, and release \'new\' games that aren\'t already featured on other consoles, that is why its having such a hard time.

They are gonna need to get software out ASAP.

Actually, PS2 in AUS at present is $AU 494 where as XBOX is $AU $659

XBOX games are also around $AU 90, where as PS2 games start from around $AU 49.

Heh, no closing this time.  No one has bashed anything, it\'s been nothing but pure fact.  Besides, slales figures can be interesting.

Not to put fuel on the fire, but Ironfist... I can\'t believe PS1 sold more than Xbox... but on the other hand it\'s dirt cheap so I guess that would be the reason.

thats just the console alone

if i was to personaly import a Xbox direct from the states i would save myself 50%

not due to currency diffrence but due to the fact that the X box is selling 50% cheaper in the States than the UK


Also over here in the UK they have reasonly launchedthe Metal Gear Solid 2 PS2 bundle

its flying of the shelfs at a alarming rate you can pick one up for £230

and the console itself is £200

with launch titles for £20
