WW3?

what major world player is backing iraq?
what are the 2-3 3rd world countries gonna do? throw some rocks?

only major world player left is russia, and US would be doing them a favor by destroying those countries

hell, USSR tried it back in the 80\'s and failed

Well, didnt US say the same before Usama bin Laden ?
There are many people that became rich, mostly with oil, and has the ability to create/recrute troops with the right propaganda.
You should never underestimate your opponent. Dident you learn that from PS2 playing? ;)

from PS2 playing?  i learn that PS2\'s are selling like wildfire and the competition picks up the scraps

im not promoting a WW, nor am i very fond of the US war machine.
im merely saying that if the US deciding to invade iraq or blank the whole country off the face of the earth

ANY country capable of taking part in a WW, wouldnt blink an eye

oh, and its Osama btw
and is that why he is hiding like a cockroach?

MM , if the U.S attacked iraq , basicly wed have the whole middle east trying to kill us , and most of the middle eastern citizens willing to enlist. Anti-american feelings have been there for a long time... and with Izreal attacking palestine and if the U.S. goes after iraq you can expect other countries to help them.

Absolutely ludicrous to not do something about Iraq.  Who gives a flying rats ass if we piss off a bunch of weirdos in these 3rd world countries.

You people are highly ignorant of the press.  You do realize that not all people over there hate the US, right?  You do realize that putting video of a bunch of people jumping around in the streets with burning american flags makes a lot better video than school kids in school who are just sitting there being good citizens.

There is nothing wrong with the US protecting it\'s citizens from future whack jobs like Osama and Sadam.

You little wuss countries are going to be kissing our ass one day because we whiped these trolls off the earth.

I\'m obviously being a little extreme here and I will probably piss a few people off, but who gives a crap.  It\'s unbelievable to me that you wouldn\'t want to get a person out that has the ability to terrorize the entire world with Chemical and nuclear weapons.

I don\'t like war, but then again, we didn\'t start this crap.

I have to say that I agree with mm on this one. The US have even been testing those anti missile things that can fly half way around the world in no time at all. It\'d be Iraq, then add in North Korea, and a couple of others, they havnt got a chance. It would be interesting to see what China do though, but after Sept 11th, I think they will back the US

Ummm.. didn\'t I jus say that back on page one? Noone over there is ready for Nuclear War aside from a few fringe extreemists. None of the governments would even consider it because they KNOW their ass is nuclear toast if they do. We all saw the world\'s reaction when some loonies few a couplla planes into a building... how do you THINK the world will react to a rouge government lobbing nukes around indescriminantly and breaking upteen hundred treaties in the process.

This isn\'t the Cold War anymore, and power isn\'t judged by the military.. but by the economy. Anyone who wants to be a superpower (I.E. China & Russia) knows they\'re get much farther ahead with stability and trade than they will through fear of fallout. England is an staunch ally, so you know they\'res no threat from them. And India has their own problems which Pakistan and vice versa.. they\'re in an arms race of their own, and with limited supply there\'s no way they\'re going to leave themselves defenceless to attack from the other.

WWIII, if it starts over this, will not be a nuclear holocaust. End of story.

USA will never drop a nuke on Iraq/Iran/Syria etc.. They\'d piss the Jews off, god forbid that.  USA has to first ask Israeli permission to do stuff.   I say give both sides arms/support, and let them do the dirty work, we get the oil after.

Usama hates the US because they did not leave Mohammed’s holy land after the Russian-Afghan war. (something in his home country Saudi Arabia)
He started to hate them even more after the Gulf War.

Not all Arabs hate the US. Some of them are just trying to stay alive and could care less what happens to their country.

But I reckon the majority of them do, especially the once in higher places. (politicians, people with money, people who care)

The support for the US was very strong after September 11th. It has got weaker now after bombing civilians in Afghan, (and not finding Usama) and not having the balls to tell Israel to retreat.

US is in a dilemma now. Either they should support their lovechild Israel, but that would hurt the support from Arabic countries "in the war against terrorism".
Or help Palestine, that would of course increase the support from Arabic countries, but it would also hurt the relations with Israel.

Attacking Iraq right now would not be such a smart thing. The support from Europe would hit a new low, same thing with UN I reckon as well.

First solve the middle east crisis, the US and EU are the only forces that can try to stop it, Israel only listens to the US it seems.

From there we will se how it goes.

Why btw attack North Korea? I though the relations had gotten better between north and south now.. And some US government person was there when Clinton was still president?

EDIT: Osama, Usama. Same name. We say Usama in Sweden, you say Osama in America. We understand each other dont we?
Oh and I believe its Usama in arabic too.. :)
