If we only knew about the origin of all that is used, worn, or eaten it might make you a little uneasy. I’m sure that chocolate is not the only food that has been harvested from the blood and sweat of an enslaved people.


Besides, I’m not much of a chocolate lover anyway.

Project, I used to work at a Poultry producing factory. I can tell you from experience that there\'s a -LOT- of stuff about the food industry that would turn your stomach.

Like it was said earlier, it\'s better just to turn your head, ignore it, and just sit back and enjoy your balogna sandwich, chocolate bar, or KFC chicken. You really do NOT want to know.......

It’s not too hard for me to ignore the fact that slavery exists being as how my upbringing has never really exposed me to the horrors of slavery. The closest I came to any form of slavery was when I worked for McDonalds. I hate all that is slavery and will not choose to forget those that suffer daily from it. I only hope that we as humans will someday get away from treating one another in this way.
