....the best damn looking racing game I\'ve ever played. Better than GT3? well....GT3 emphazises on its car\'s shine and reflection. WRC emphasizes on the road and terrain. It\'s a toss up.

Better looking than RalliSport Challenge? Yes.

Plays better than RalliSport Challenge? They both are lacking when compared to CMR2. But yes, WRC is barely, just barely better in the gameplay over RSC.

The Monster Cable is CLEARLY an improvement over your typical video cable. If you have S-Video on you TV, get it.

If you live in Europe, you suck coz your new TVs get a better image right from the start! ;)

ithink they must have re done it a lot, as the one in uk sucked, and got lots of mixed reviews

Not really. It\'s not as darty as some of you described it to be. On playback, it skips a few frames every now and then but it\'s quite beautiful!

Well I though the PAL WRC looked pretty impressive and up to par with GT3 in many aspects. The sun effects just wowed me when I saw them at first.. you know, how it lids up the whole surroundings when driving towards the sun... :cool:

I cant really comment, but have heard good things from PAL wrc players. I\'ll have done it in a weeks time, so I shall voice my opinions then, but I hope its as good as you say Gman ;)

Do you have the Logitec GT3 Forced Feedback steering wheel???  Although I\'ve found the twitch factor high using the control pad, the Logitec FF wheel rocks with this game.  Of course, that is a subjective opinion -- but I do agree that twitch exists [with the joypad]...I mean its damn near literally left-right-left-right to keep ur car on the road with the joypad.  But the wheel is much smoother IMO.

Just thought I\'d mention if you hadn\'t tried the game with the Log. FF wheel.

only played it on a pad..sounds like they made major changes..this game has been out for ages in uk.....stanzo had it, though it was excellent...i asked afew months later how it was, he said after a while, he found this game sucks

well its very impressive to start with, but thats not enough for a game.

I\'m a huge fan of rally games and stuff, but WRC & GT3 are completely different ideas so lets not comment on the two.

WRC is very realistic and thats why your fingers hurt after 2-3 hours playing the game! I have the GT3 Logitec well and its the bollox!! The only bad thing is that my arms hurt after a while!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, I don\'t know how the NTSC WRC plays, but I only enjoy playing the PAL version with "evopower" enabled... Otherwise its so SLOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWW.....  :(

I saw my friend play my game with "evopower" on. I don\'t want to do that. It would re-calibrate my perception of the game\'s normal speed. :)
