"supposed to be"  tell that to grandia 2

at any rate, ecco DOF on the PS2 is an EXACT port with  no changes made

if you got the DC version, skip it

It\'s a port but with a significant added feature...a radar that points you in the direction of your next objective.  This is a priceless add-on for some of the massive levels in which you have to complete mulitiple tasks...

Give it a rent first...it can be somewhat frustrating and end up being more of a chore than fun to play. ( Cringes at the thought of Hanging Waters, Hatchery, Four Ways of Mystery, Perpetual Fluidity, Lair of Evil, Transfiguration...)

It\'s a big game, 30+ levels and an okay story.  You\'ll love it for the atmosphere and the experience of some levels (Hanging Waters, Powers of Levitation, Anguish of Dearth, Roaring Forces), and then you\'ll hate it for the challenge it provides.  I absolutely despise the Hatchery and Transfiguration levels...I just hate them so much!!
