Thinking about new hair style
« on: April 11, 2002, 08:48:35 PM »
I\'m thinking about getting a new hair style, but have no idea what to get.

I\'m 20, live in California, and am  always on the water, so I need something that gives off that "Californian Vibe".  Right now my hair looks like Paul Walker\'s in Fast and the Furious, but brown.  And since chicks dig his hair style I\'m thinking about texturing it more, and adding highlights.  But I\'m not sure about it.

Anyone have any ideas for styles?  I can wear my hair short and straight, or longer and wavy.  The styles I don\'t like is the short spike, or the bed head look, because I\'ve had those for 4-5 years.

Any help would be appreciated, and I\'m open to any styles...well other than purple liberty spikes.

Chicks dig the shaved look, like David Beckham.

I have spikes, used to have a wedge/bum part. Do whatever you want

as a proud owner of the true non-hairstyle, (i.e. i don\'t even comb it) must state the advantages of such a thing. I literally just shake my head like a dog and go. Chicks dig the "early keith richards" look, and girls are generally wary of dudes who spend more time on their hair than they do.

And one more ting... "California vibe"? sorry dude, but that sounds

I gotta say that I could have a full head of hair but choose to go with the shaved look. It goes well with the hair that I have cultivated on my chin. Women have often said that I look like a villain. Cool.

i used to have long hair, when i was like 15.i would grow it long to my shoulders, then it would annoy me, so id get it cut!!! then i would wanna grow it again, i would do this all the time, then one time i got it shaved off for a bet, and i must say i prefer my hair short.its soooo much easier!!!

I seen some dude the other day, he had his hair shaved with a #2 guard, except for the bangs, which he spiked up into 5 spikes... he looked like lady liberty.....you could do that.....Or hey, you could take a lighter and singe your whole head, and you could tell chicks that you just saved a family from there house fire single handed.  You know, kind of go for the hero look... If you dont like those, you could always have someone shave the shape of California on the top of your head.. If that isnt the "Californian" look, then I dont know what is.

I\'m thinking about shaving it, I just hope I don\'t have an odd shaped head.

As for me loving myself, how do you come to that conclusion?  Because I ask for hairstyle opinions?  Don\'t get me wrong, I do love myself, I just wonder how you figured it out.

I dunno, Big Log...why would we think something like that?  It certainly isn\'t because of the self-praising "I am sooo preety and buff, should I take of my clothes in front of women and be paid for it?" thread.

Or the "Here\'s a fun IQ test, my score was 349" thread.

My guess is that theomen spends more time shaving and/or waxing body hair than all the women on this board combined.
