Timesplitters 2 interview with developers

Ellis: Xbox is my least favorite console of the three. It\'s a PC. It carries all the legacy that comes with that too. Direct 3D is horrible to work with by all accounts. PC developers just like it because they\'re used to it. We like consoles. PlayStation 2 has almost no libraries, so you have to do everything yourself. That gives you complete flexibility in doing whatever you want to. That\'s critical if you want to get top performance. It\'s something you don\'t have with Xbox or GameCube. PlayStation 2 gives you the flexibility of doing it just the way you want.
