I don\'t think that I\'ve had a day this bad in a long time. I wear contact lenses. The other day, my eye was becoming iritated. Since then it has only gotten worse. Today, I went into my normal eye doctor about it around 10:45 AM. After a half hour wait, they examined my eye, and determined I had to go to our local hospital to see some higher level eye doctor. So, we go immediately there, and arrive at about noon. Eventually, someone sees me. Drops are put into my eyes, and then I had lights shining into them for the next 15 minutes or so. He takes some notes, and leaves. We wait around for about an hour, after which someone else comes in, and does the exact same thing. After all of this, they decide to finally call in the person I had come to see in the first place. Let me remind you my left eye is burning like hell this whole time, and is also very sensative to light. Well, about another hour later, this eye doctor guy comes in. He then looks at my eyes the same way that everyone else had. He leaves, then comes back about 15 minutes later, and says he has to take samples from my eyes to be analyzed. Well, let me tell you, when someone takes samples of your eye, it isn\'t fun. They were poking **** in my eye and rubbing something off or something. I couldn\'t feel much of it, since I was so drugged up from the eye drops. So then, we have to wait about another hour for the tests to be run. Finally, we get the results back. It seems I have this strange infection thing in my eyes. So for the next 24 hours, I get to put antibiotic drops in my eyes every hour around the clock. I\'m tired now, I hate to think how I\'ll be at the end of all this. I also have to put some sort of cream in my eye every day, along with some other drops every 4 hours. When I\'m all done with this stuff, I get to be put on steroids. On top of that, I can\'t wear my contacts for the next 3 weeks, and my glasses are so out of date that I can\'t see great in them. Well, I can\'t get any new ones for a week anyway. So, when I finally got out of the hospital, it was 6:30 pm. I had been being inspected and waiting around for people and results for nearly 8 hours straight. Oh, and did I mention this is spring break, and I had plans to go away, which now have to be canceled?
So, anyway, how was your day?
