First of all, I wasn\'t attacking you, so take a few seconds to breathe deeply before you start calling other people an idiot. You\'re over reacting here, and I\'m sure that you know how\'s the situation in Europe.

I said it was bs what they said about the need to store 2 versions of the same FMV, one at 50 Hz, and the other one at 60 Hz. I own a DC, and that just doesn\'t happen; they just skip some of the frames (the FMVs in my Pal version of Code Veronica jump from one frame to another, which make them look a lot worse).

That\'s exactly what they said:

Quote
In order to do a 60hz switch, it would have been necessary for the development team to store all of the FMV files on the DVD disc twice (in both 50hz and 60hz modes) and there was simply not enough space on the disc to achieve this

*sigh*So I\'ll repeat it again... I\'ve nothing against you, but I don\'t like all this crappy conversions and excuses Sony\'s been doing since launch day. Nearly every big PS2 title launched here has been a disappointment due to sh*** conversions.

I also hope they could fix these issues, because the demo was far from being even a standard Pal conversion.
Whatever

Uh?

If you\'d noticed Sonys games were one of the first to have 50/60Hz option on PS2?

the borders are still pretty big

more than an inch on both sides.. but you really dont notice it during the game.. the characters dont look deformed or anything

my brother walked in while i was playing it and he didnt even bring up the borders (its something that he would usually bring up) because its really not a big problem

framerate is fine, graphics are fantastic (although some areas are better than others)

and its just a fantastic game.. the opening hour or so is just.... awesome

:)
