is it the pc controller, or the game, help me decide...

ok, i have a Gravis Xterminator game controller for my pc, i had it for 3 years and its great, but i think its crapping out on me.  i was playing spiderman the movie game and the controller stopped working, it was connected to the computer, so no problems there.  i restarted the game and it did it again.  so i thought the controller was messed up, i tried some other games, and it didn\'t do it in them.

so, is the controller messed up?  is the game messed up?  or is my sound card messed up?(i connect the controller through the sound card)

If you\'re not having this problem with any other games, then yeah, it\'s probably the game that\'s fuxing up. Search the web for updated patches to the game and see if that helps.
