The GBA / NGC anyone excited ?

simple enoigh question

if you own or are going to own a Gamecube and a Gameboy Advance.

are you excited at the idea of using your Gameboy Advance as a second screen / alternative controller ?


for me

i am kind of Half and Half and would like to see it being used for Innovative idears rather than  a gimic.

for example it could be used as your equipment and statyus screen and controller in a RPG

for example you use the Standard NGC controller to play the game and the GBA to select items from your equipment.

this will alow ease of play plus will alow you to perform complex commands without loseing the main gamming screen.

gimmick

This couldn\'t be more of a gimmick.  If you have a CG, you are going to use a TV, not a 3 in screen.  If you are playing games with 2 people, instead of buying a link, buy a second controller.  It has more functions.

But yeah.. if not used correctly, it could be just a gimmick. Nintendo has some very cool things planned for it though. The game Koro Koro Kirby*, for example.. in which you can transfer Kirby from the GBA screen to the TV screen in gameplay by thrusting the controller forward. The game utilizes a motion-detector to allow this effect.. tilting the GBA actually moves Kirby. It\'s similar to the gameplay in Super Monkey Ball. It\'s pretty neat.

They could make something really nice out of it..

yeah, like to look at hardcore pr0n so my brain doesnt turn into a jelly bean while playing pikmin or [insert kiddie game here]
