In true Maxis form, the entire SimCity formula is being rebuilt from the ground up for this sequel.

I rarely get excited about a game... but I love me some SimCity.

In the artice it says it will be shown at E3.

I too am excited about this game.  That volcano looks pretty sweet, and the buildings beat Yoot\'s tower any day.

Still, cool to know I\'m not the only one excited about this game. ;)

I can\'t wait for this game to come out! First, from the gamespot article, we can actually FOLLOW sims around (whoohoo...though I hope it isn\'t too taxing on the computer). Second, police and fire trucks HAVE to get from the station to the fire and have to deal with things like traffic (so really bad taffic, fire burns and becomes more destructive). Also, you can\'t build schools/police station/fire station/hospital anywhere. They have to serve the community (more realism! Always good). Also, a neighborhood\'s wealth and appearance is determined by the sims, not by land value (this time, land value follows the sims. Not the other way around). Now, we have weather and a nighttime view, as well as building sets that are specific to a given time (instead of ultramodern buildings in the 1950) that will ALSO give a certain neighborhood history, game just sounds better and better as more info comes out on it. :D

WORD, the developers have used a lot of what they\'ve learned from "The Sims" and put it into Sim City 4.  More fun ways for us to lose ourselves in a fake little world.
