my RE remake thoughts so far

intro is VASTLY different

VERY graphic and gorey, but the color banding is attrocious!
UGh!  did they use 8 bit textures or what?

the voice acting is much better this time, although it retains a bit of that cheese that made the original cool.  my only gripe is the way the voice says "resident evil" when you start yer game.  sounds like guy smiley is saying it

in game is pretty cool.  control is pretty good, and heavy amount of textures with no slowdown.  i guess static backgrounds are good for that

i picked this up at my normal store for 25$ so im quite happy

Is your normal store the trunk of some guys car?  Where do you get prices like that?

And are you pissed that they took out "Jill, you\'re the master of unlocking"?  I never played it, but after hearing about it, I really wish they left that line in.

i get all my games from a store called "cd warehouse"
they sell PS2, GC, and XBOX games for $24.99, unless thier older launch titles then they drop in price

they are VERY stringent on what games they take as they pay 15$ cash for each one.  they also put all the disks thru a cleaning machine.  what ive noticed is that i see lots of kids in there selling brand new games.  im figuring they steal them from the local best buy/walmart/circuit city and then just bring them there for money.  works for me!

they are a national chain, so see if they have one in yer neck of the woods, errrr sticks

they also have punch cards that when you get so many punches, you get 8.99$ off anything in the store, i used such a coupon when i bought VF4

Well....I like RE2 better than the original RE but - RE2 didn\'t scare me like RE. The RE for Gamecube is an improved version of RE PSX.....I\'m rambling now.

I\'m enjoying it. I had to restart. Jill got crushed and I cant\' get Barry to save her from becoming "...a Jill sandwhich!"
