anyone here into Comics?

hey nerds, this prolly won\'t get many replies (if any) cause it doesn\'t seem as if many PSX2Cr\'s are into comics.

none the less, are there any comics any of you guys or gals like or read?
I\'ve been collecting numerous comics my whole life but my biggest collection so far is the Amazing Spider-Man series. Which is the orignal series back from the 60\'s. My goal is to own all of them some day, i\'ve been collecting since I was 5 years old =)

Also what do you guys think of Women in comics? personally, so far i\'m yet to see a plus to being a woman in comics (or at least a major plus) heres a list I found and its only a small portion of the way women are treated.

another famous one that wasn\'t included is Alex DeWitt who was the Green Lanterns girlfriend who was cut into pieces and stuffed into his refrigerator.

The only comics I can really enjoy are the Astrix books.

I was never really interested in mainstream stuff, X-men, Spiderman.

I really enjoyed "The Sandman" by Neil Gaiman.

I used to read Spider-Man, especially that whole clone/Osborn saga from a few years ago. But then comics got expensive, and I just didn\'t care enough to shell out nearly $3.00 for an issue.

aye, when the industry hit a slouch it was hard to buy as many when the prices got jacked

I still have a whole box of various comic books stuffed somewhere in my closet, most of \'em Spider-Man. My most valuable would have to be:

- the 200th issue of Spectacular, where Harry Osborn dies
- the issue where Norman Osborn returns, kills the clone and Peter Parker becomes Spider-Man again.
- the X-Men where Xaviar leaves the team (then again, I haven\'t seen an issue in a long time, he probably came back!).

yeah dude! hang on to those, I\'m pretty positive that they are worth something :D

At this present time I am no longer collecting comics but I have a small collection of Batman and The Punisher comics. My favorite it Frank Millers Dark Night Returns series. I also have the War Journal comics for the Punisher. All of which are coooooool!!;)
