unfortunatly, the phrase that sticks in my mind when I was buying I think it was GT3 from Software Etc.

"you could buy a PS2, but I suggest you put money down on an X-Box, it will have equal if not better games at launch than PS2 has to offer right now, and it comes with all the features that PS2 offers, including DVD-playback and online capability.  The graphics will blow the other systems away, within one year it will have sold more units than PS2 and Gamecube combined."\\

Lol, if only I could meet that guy again.  .2% of what he said was true, but it\'s funny, people actually think that happened.

yeah this has hapend to me to

Electronic Boutique in Glasgow ..Day of the Launch of Metal Gear Solid 2.

Got a 30 min Rant from the to Store clerk guys saying how i should TRADE in my PS2 bacuse in a years time the value wouldn\'t even cover the price of a X box game

also got a boring lecture on the "Size" *snigger* of the Xbox and controller when i said i found the Controller uncomforable

Also got a quick glimps into the futer as the 2 of them said that after MGS2 and FF10 there will be no good games for the PS2 left.

Also they siad that the PS2 internet anf Final Fntasy 11 would be a TOTAL Failure.

-----------

made me very angry that they actually got played for that S%^&

so i bought MGS2 and Red Faction to rub it in and i am planning to preorder my HDD and Internet adapter and i am going to pick it up at the Same store...just hope the 2 dumm@sses still work there.

haven\'t been in since i nearly collapsed after playing the Eye punishing HALO for 15 min\'s

Gamestop is trash, its under the same chain as Funcoland.  They overprice games and give ****ty trade in rates.
