Drifting away from gaming
« on: May 03, 2002, 01:32:50 AM »
For about the last year I\'ve been drifting farther and farther away from gaming.  I don\'t know why, but I just don\'t feel the need to complete a game anymore.  I\'ll get a game play it for a week and not play again for a month, really there have only been a few exceptions to this.  Maybe it\'s due to the extreme lack of original titles and the push for sequels.  I really am getting sick of nearly every big game being a better looking version of a game I played to death years earlier.  Yet I know these sequels will keep coming due to so many people buying them.    :(

Anyone else feel the same way?

i feel the same way

right now though im playing through some refreshingly innovative titles such as GTA3 and The Summoner which i thouroughly enjoy..

i think recently the push has been more towards great multiplayer, or graphics.. when all i really want is something that i can sit down and play for hours on end..

Summoner is the only game this generation i have played for 8 hours straight on (i only turned it off because i died after having not saved in some time)
