Lane!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I just thought you should all know that Lane Staley from the band Alice In Chains died. This was one of my all time favorite bands back in the day when I was a longhaired heavy metal freak. Now I’m just a short hair heavy metal freak. D*mn those were the days.

You\'re late man, this happened almost two weeks ago.

Of course it comes as no surprise, since he was near the top of many dead pools.  I remember he had such a severe heroin addiction, he used to wear wool gloves in photo shoots because there were tracks on the knuckles of his hands.  

I think Alice in Chains was great, and I especially liked that little EP they put out called "Jar of Flies."

Jar of Flies was excellent but Dirt was my all time fav. I liked most of their other stuff too. I also was aware of the gloves he wore during interviews. Its sad man, just plain sad.

I knew a chick could turn the hearts of man to respecting this poor excuse of a thread that I had started in memory of one of Rocks coolest dudes.

I know I should have worded my statement a bit different. I think he and the rest of the band had some pretty cool tunes. As for his personal life you’re right, he was a junkie.
