Girls, what to do??

Following in the footsteps of some of our favourite members, I now have the women problem. Here goes:

I have been with my girl for 4 and a half years. Shes great and I love her loads. Thing is recently I\'ve been getting real bored with her and she just doesnt interest me much anymore, it aint exactly happenin in the bedroom either. Also, over the past few weeks, I\'ve been gettin offers off really hot girls, and it sorta makes me think its time to move on. I mean, I\'m only 19, and she has been my only proper girlfriend. I know if I end it she\'ll be hurt, but I just dont know what to do, I\'m very confused. I think ending it would be best for me, but I dont want to see her upset, but its all been making me feel really down the past few days. Anyway, your contributions are welcome, I\'m goin to go and finish my Jack Daniels off.

Sometimes people get hurt. If your not happy shes probally aint happy, I say end it and move on.

Wake up man! Your only 19, you got your life ahead of you and as my grandfather always said “There’s not a handful, but a land full” (meaning woman of course). Like Heat said, if your not happy, she probably ain’t happy.

But be careful, pissing 4 and a half years away is a d*mn shame.

I had this same problem this past summer, but we worked through it, and fixed all the boringness in our relationship, but the thing is to do what ever makes u happy!!!

I know, and the past means a lot, but I really feel its time for a change, the problem now lies with how to tell her

ending it is the only right thing to do.. right now by being with her you are lying to yourself and her..

but then again, you say you still love her.. your just bored?  you love her, but not in the way you used to?  your just not interested in her and want to move on?  then you must move on..

Gotta be straight forward about it, cant pull her along like shes a dog on a leash, just straight up tell her how u feel. Minus the part about the other hot girl offers, then u might get killed.

I spose I love her more like a family member than a partner now, the spark has very much gone.

You\'re still in love with her, right?  Consider how scared you are about telling her and hurting her.  From a scale of 1-10, is the scared level at 10 or close to it?  4 and a half years is a long time and that tingly, new feeling may be fading.  I totally know how you feel.  There was a time when Ryu and I were bored to tears with each other.

What you need to do is rekindle that tingly feeling.  Do something new.  Ask her out on a date like it was your first.  Do something different like take her to a play where she can dress up and eat at a fancy restaurant.  Cooking is even better!  Or better yet, bake something with her.  This summer you two can take an activity course at your local recreation center.  Or volunteer in the community together.  You don\'t have to talk or converse with each other.  Just do.   You can discuss with her what kinds of different things she wants to do.  Do something meaningful to the both of you.

Don\'t try to dismiss the relationship just because you both are bored.  That\'s not how you fix things.  Try to bring that old spark back.  Who cares if you\'re young?  What if you were to break up and that was the biggest mistake of your life?
