I finally decided to buy Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance.
I planed to buy it much earlier but I prioritized other games back then.

Me and my brother are playing it in co-op on Normal.. Very, very fun. We are on act II now by the end (just entered the Ice-cave, by the invisible cats)
First thing I noticed when I booted the game up was the awesome visuals.. This must be one of the best looking games on PS2!
The textures are very sharp as well as the picture quality. (It uses 2x FSAA so no jaggies or shimmering).

The characters are VERY detailed. (I read that the characters use between 5 000 polygons up to 20 000 per character)
Just look at Brogan..

Very smooth animations..

As I said.. Very fun in co-op, I haven’t had the time to play it in singleplayer yet though (seems very hard, cuz its even hard when playing 2 players..)

anyhoo, co-op on BGDA is phenominal

wait till you beat the game and go back thru on extreme mode

I just got it today and I am simply amazed at the beautiful graphics. I\'m still in act 1 and it\'s quite challenging already. So much of fun too.

You should put alot of your bonus points on Charisma. Helps a whole bunch. The sorceress was my fav.

I played the game some more today.. Finished the ice-cave so Im at the swamp.. Super nice, lots of water effects.

I upgraded my dwarf.

Pretty sweet ay?

My bro bough some armour for his chick.

Im gonna try and upgrade my charisma next time so I get the weapons cheaper

Sweet ass game! I love levelling up my dwarf and buying new weapons ect.

Hmm.. I beat BG:DA a few times, and one thing I noticed is the Arcane Archer is broken at later levels of power.

With his multiple arrow thingy maxed I killed most bosses on extreme within seconds.

I was thinking of getting this, Im not a big RPG fan but still it looks cool, is it easy to get into or is it gonna take an age just to start building your character ?

Its very easy to get into.
Its more of a hack and slash game than a RPG.. Still very fun.

I\'ve finished this game on every difficulty (Extreme) and I thought this game was good to look at but it has no where near the replay of diablo on playstation one,I \'m still playing that and finding new stuff and leveling up my mages spells.BG:DA is the same stuff over and over.Maybe they will fix that in number 2?? Just wish Diablo had BG:DA graphics!!!

Theres not enough items and the one player is no fun. CO-OP is very good but doesn\'t make up for the other problems.
