i find it hard to think so personally, although there are great games coming out this year, last year IMO (somehow i think you will disagree  :p) was a great year for PS2 with games such as Twisted Metal Black, Final Fantasy X, Metal Gear Solid 2, Grand Theft Auto 3, Gran Turismo 3, NBA Street, Baldurs Gate, WWF Smackdown, Devil May Cry, Jak & Daxter, Tony Hawks 3..the list goes on

this year so far im looking forward to Ratchet & Clank, Aliens: Colonial Marines, The Getaway, Devil May Cry 2, Virtua Fighter 4 (not released everywhere), Medal of Honor: Frontline, Tekken 4, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy XI, Twisted Metal: Online, Gran Turismo 4 (i think), Gran Theft Auto: Miami addition, XenoSaga, Soul Calibur 2 and the list goes on (im probably forgetting some huge games that im looking forward to seeing)

also E3 should be huge this year with blockbsters for all consoles, Summoner 2, Red Faction 2, and many other games should be announced, Square and Sega should announce LOTS of things (PLEASE VAGRANT STORY 2!  PLEASE)  possibly the next big Chrono game..

heck, its a great time to be a gamer..

(ive left top quality games out for both years, but this is just off the top of my head here) it looks promising, but i doubt up to the standard of last year.. but hey.. you never know  :)

but yeah, E3 will really decide, it should be a great show this yeah, and im expecting LOTS of PS2 announcements..

Well, I don\'t have feelings for inanimate objects and if I did, the PS2 wouldn\'t be one of them.  I just didn\'t think that the PS2 had the software advantage that  it had last year and I wanted to get you guy\'s view on that.  Obviously, the majority of you believe so.

And I didn\'t know that anyone who didn\'t own a PS2 was not normal...

i dont know what else i would get, but those are a definite.

oh, i will probably get the modem, $40 for the modem, but i dont know what the monthly charge is, that is why i am going to wait to see what the cost is.
