That pisses me off that they made it like ign. Anyways are there any other good FREE gaming sites that you guys suggest. It looks like I need to find a new home.

if you check in at least once a week you wont miss any of the latest info, news, reviews, previews etc. etc.

but a site as big as GameSpot costs money, and lots of it.. and im sure that the founders of GameSpot are just as pissed off as you are.

Yeah, you will find in the next 5-7 years that most sites will \'cost\' to view, just like extra TV channels. Pop up ads just aren\'t paying like they used too, and sites like that only make money from ads...

Welcome to reality

it cost a heluva alot more money then you think to run these sites

Those downloads and screenshots eat up bandwidth and advertising is no longer paying the bills


get used to it cause you will see it happening alot more for many other types of services out there

Actually, I heard that they\'re thinking about taxing the Internet and using that money to help fund sites like IGN & such. It\'d be like 3 cents per page you\'d have to pay.. and I think a nickle for every Email.

Dunno if they\'re going to go thru with it tho...
