My Star Wars: Episode 2 review
« on: May 08, 2002, 06:51:08 AM »
*There should be no spoilers in the review*

Well, today I was at a screening of SW:E2 and a movie called Unfaithful. I\'ll start with a few words about Unfaithful: zzZzzZzz (it wasn\'t that bad, but it wasn\'t exactly great either. A rather boring romance/thriller flick by Adrian Lyne - I give it a 6/10).

And now to the good part: Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones.

This movie is amazing. Fantastic. Breathtaking. And I\'m not even a fan. :D

I saw it in the newest cinema complex in Denmark and the picture was stunning, as was the THX sound. I don\'t really know where to begin or what to say, but I really liked it. The plot was good. Hayden Christensen wasn\'t as annoying as I thought he would be from seeing the trailer, infact he was quite good. The story was a good mix of action and emotion. And let\'s face it - Natalie Portman is easy on the eyes. :)

You won\'t be bored that\'s for sure. There are loads of ships flying around, battles and whatnot. Jar Jar is only in this movie for a few minutes, so he doesn\'t get very annoying (good move IMO).

Overall it was a very pleasant and entertaining 2 hours and 20 mins (at least I think it was 2:20 :D). I can only give it my warmest recommendation. A job well done Mr. Lucas!

Rating: 10/10

Don\'t worry about the action vs. romance. It\'s nicely balanced. :)
