Which series of the following genres do you prefer?

Sega vs Namco

Virtua Fighter/Tekken?

Daytona/Ridge Racer?

Virtua Cop/Time Crisis?

Virtual On/Cyberbots (I think that was the name, 1st gen PS1 game)?

Sega vs Nintendo

Sonic/Mario?

Phantasy Star/Zelda?

Sega vs EA

NFL2K/Madden?

NBA2K/NBA Live?

NHL2K/NHL (Forgot name)?

My choices: Tekken, Racers suck, Time Crisis, Virtual On, Platformers are boring, Phantasy Star, Sports suck.

Everything Sega but Virtua Cop. Cyberbots was made by Capcom, I have no idea what you are talking about :) Perhaps

Last Bronx/Soul Calibur  

In which case, SC is overrated poo and I would take LB any day. I still can\'t believe SC got a perfect Famitsu score, but brilliance like SF3:3S, MoW, and VF4 didn\'t!!!

Either we have alot of people who HATE good games, or we have alot of people who only play EA sports games.

How can you take NBA Live and NHL 2002 over 2K2?!!?! It is unreasonable at best. Both are crap in comparison!

while i have played them, i have a serious lack of experience with Sega\'s sports titles.. perhaps i should have left them from my post

i am not a fan of ANY Sports game console & PC games.

why play it on the console when you can go out in the sun shine and do it for real.

because i cant play for San Antonio along side Tim Duncan and David Robinson taking on the Chicago Bulls in a best out of 5 series...

Sega vs Namco - I\'m not a big Virtua Fighter fan.. so I like Namco\'s fighters (Soul Calibur) better by defaut. As far as just pure game making talent tho, definately Sega.

Sonic/Mario? - Sonic, of course.

Phantasy Star/Zelda? - Umm.. Zelda isn\'t really a RPG. Least not in the sence that PS is. Should be Phantasy Star vs. Final Fantasy.. and I might just add that to the list of compairisons.

NFL2K/Madden? - Dunno

NBA2K/NBA Live? - Dunno

NHL2K/NHL (Forgot name)? - Dunno.. I don\'t like Sports or Sports games.



Phantasy Star vs. Final Fantasy - Phantasy Star... I like the continual storyline, the characters, and the plot better than typical Final Fantasy fare. I also like that it\'s set in the future, instead of the middle ages. Magic isn\'t generic in it either. In Final Fantasy you have your standard Antidote spells, Ice, Fire, Gravity, Water...  ect.. ect.. In Phantasy Star you have spells that are about as uniqe as their names. Deban, Shifta, Tandel, Foie, Megid, Faleli... and in Phantasy Star 4 you have combos too... kinda like Steiner using Vivi\'s magic to add effects and damage to his attacks in FF9. Tho I think GrandCross is a bit more awe inspiring than "Ice Sword".

Plus Numans are hotties. Nei, NeiFirst, Rika, HUnewearl, and FOnewearls... ohh.. I like the ears. >:D Oh.. and Musk Cat\'s are by far much better mascot creatures than a marshmallow with bat wings. Ugh.. I hate moogles. Dark Flaz could kick the crap outta any Final Fantasy boss.. with maybe the exception of Sephiroth simply because of the coolness factor.
