price cut?

i\'ve heard that they will be cuttin PS2 to 200 at E3.....but i\'m not sure. can anyone else confirm this?

Considering the Xbox has just dropped below the PS2...um i think that sony will drop theres to compete.......honestly sony are kicking their ass....PS2 rulz

Unfortunately, latest articles seem to be indicating no price drop the the PS2 at E3.  I sincerely hope that\'s wrong for sony\'s sake, but it\'ll be a good thing for the box and GC if sony remains at 300.

ah.....but xbox might still cut theirs.....actually, i was tryin to decide between xbox and PS2, and i think i just made the choice. but it all depends on the price cuts.

um the price dropped to $399.00 or something like that which i find hell funny.

i got a special coparrison issue of \'edge\' comparinbg the xbox,ps2 and GC and it said the the price of the ps2 will be being cut and they r gonna announce it at E3

if they drop the PS2 down to compare to the xbox, PS2 will surely win over..xbox really sucks.

Well, they printed the popular/likely rumor.  That above article clearly states Sony\'s current position.  I\'m sure there will be a price drop at some point, or their system will start coming with HDD/Net, but don\'t expect the price drop at E3.

Interesting how someone from Sony flatly denied it, and then a few days later, they go ahead with it anyways.  But with their timing, now to those uneducated masses in society, it looks as if Sony dropped their prices first
