X-Box Screen...

PS2 Screen....

Whilst the resolution of textures is better in the X-Box picture, the lighting is nowhere near as good as the PS2 version.
It\'s a possibility that the screen grab from the X-Box version is early as i am unaware of the release dates for both versions.

The Xbox version : trees and cars look a bit pasted on.

Missing lightning in Xbox picture (see car)

Xbox screen= framebuffer
PS2 screen= AV-out

since we r comparing screenshots, the PS2 version is ingame, where as the the xbox version is of the replay.
but the textures on the xbox version are far more clear than that of the PS2 version

What\'s with the exploding tree in the xbox shot? :eek:

PS2 shot more looks like slightly out of focus photograph

xbox shot looks like a sharply focused capture of a video game

You can clearly see the xbox version has better textures and just looks plain better, but the ps2 version looks pretty good as well.:thepimp:

Could very well end up being true. We should know in a few weeks.

rastalant, check out the textures next time you\'re flying down a twisty road in real life. Best to keep an eye on the road though, that is, if you\'re the one driving...

Sharp images of pasted trees, cars, and jaggies look better? Must be a matter of taste.

How do you figure? Seeing as WRC was ****e compared to CMR 1 and 2. I don\'t see why CMR3 would be worse than WRC.
