I\'m seriously considering the Canon EOS-D60.  Do you have any experienced with it? I\'ve been looking all over and none of the retail carry one!

Personally, I am still not satisfied with any digital cameras on the market.

You need to make sure you get one with an optical zoom, preferebly 28mm lens. I havent heard of this model yet, as I normally specialise in Kodak at work.

Whats its pixel rate? Anything above the 4.8 megapixel range is decent, though you need to find one with a decent flash. Its the flash thats the major problem in digital photography.

All pros I\'ve talked to, either using an SLR or Digicam, swear by Nikon.  You can\'t really beat their 9xx+ coolpix line but keep in mind they are for the professional/prosumer, not designed up front to be user friendly like Olympus and Canon (which are a good mix of both btw).  ymmv

I cant stand the Nikon 9xx series. Small lens with horrible aperture. If you are looking for a proffesional model, check out the Olympus E-10(there might be a newer model, but Im not sure.) Great lens, decent zoom, 2 external flash terminals. All in all a great proffesional camera.

6.3 (effective) Mpixel is what the Canon EOS-D60 is capable of.

as far as the flash and zoom goes I can always go for it later.

the Olympus E-10 have changable lense? if not then I don\'t want it.  I need something that I can take everything with (meaning I have to get different lense for different task).
