Some advice.
« on: May 17, 2002, 08:21:43 AM »
Hello all I am new to the scene, I want to back up my games and dvd\'s in fear of scratching since I have 3 kids and I purchasedthe MOD chip, the Game Shark 2 and I have a CD-RW Drive on my PC and I was wanting to make sure I do not need anything else. Someone that has done this please let me know.

Thanks,

They\'ll lock up this thread if it\'s about copying CDs.

What is wrong with making a back up for yourself? I know it is against the law to make copies and sell them, but for you personally I do not see why they would not allow that. Do you know if I am forgetting anything.

Here, speaking about piracy is banned, so if you\'re interested in finding info about this topic, I suggest you to look for in other site.

Sorry for the confusion I was under the impression that I was making a back up copy of a CD not piracy, piracy is making a copy and selling it correct?

Why backup the games, if you can simply put the discs in a place where your kids don\'t find them? It\'s not hard really and there are many places I can think of that a 4 year old couldn\'t reach.
