My two shows start this week on Speed Channel

The first one airs on Thursday at 7:30pm...  I produce and direct this show.  It\'s virtually identical to Crank and Chrome and Shadetree Mechanic.  It\'s geared towards the street rod crowd so you guys probably won\'t be all that interested in it.  You can learn quite a bit though about cars.  The first one is all about recurving distributors and what\'s going on inside the distributor.

Our other show Hi Rev Tuners airs Sunday night at 10:30 EST.  I shoot and produce on this show along with creating the graphics.  I didn\'t actually do the open, but it was my direction.

You guys will probably like the HRT.  Hopefully you get Speed Channel.  Kind of sparce coverage with this channel although it\'s growing quickly.

I have the speed channel, and I\'m gonna watch...  but I\'m warning you in advance... I\'m a very demanding and harsh opinionator.  *ie. yer screwed!*

Don\'t worry, I\'m sure lots of people will spray verbal diarhea all over you in terms of virtual blowjobs for your show.  I mean, it\'s not like you were subtle about wanting attention for your accomplishments or anything. :rolleyes:

Nah, I\'m fine with it.  They are both very cheap shows to produce and they are what they are.  One is slow and it\'s for the older folk.  Lots of tech stuff, etc.  One is fast, for young folk.  Lots of flash, but not a lot of nuts and bolts.

Both shows are pretty good for what they are.  Only thing that bugs me about my show is that the people pay to be on the show.  This really limits what we can do.  It also sucks cause it looks like a dang infomercial at times.  But for those of you who watched Shadetree and Crank and Chrome, you\'re use to it.

And as far as "wanting attention for your accomplishments"  what are you talking about.  I put a couple threads up showing you guys the development of a show.  Just thought it was be nice.  Sorry.  I figured when you see the open you could think to yourself that 6 months ago you saw the still from what it was going to look like.

Wow, congratulations. I have the Speed channel here and I will be watching. I\'m in the video biz and I am always looking at what I watch with a discerning eye. Btw, nothing wrong with tooting your own horn. If you don\'t do it, no one else will.

Bah, don\'t tell anyone no-one.  hehe.  These shows are very simple.  Matter of fact I would never in a million years watch mine if I didn\'t do it as a job.  Just not my thing.  My stuff is usually fast paced and off center.  Kind of like Hi Rev Tuners is.  But hey, it pays the bills.
