Rented SSX Tricky for Gamecube. Conclusion? Read
« on: May 22, 2002, 04:35:29 AM »
I have the PS2 version of SSX and I\'ve played SSX Tricky on my GF\'s PS2 a few months back.

So last night, I decided to rent SSX Tricky for Gamecube just to see the difference. Same game, slightly better graphics....BUT THE DAMN CONTROLLER IS POORLY DESIGNED FOR THIS TYPE OF GAME!

I broke out the converter for the DS2 (Dual Shock 2 - for you Playstation newbies ;) ) and finally enjoyed the game like I did with PS2.

That GC D-pad is simply atrocious!

I agree..see my other thread...the GC\'s d-pad is cack. But...Am I right in thinking that if I use the Dualshock2 converter for my GC, that ports like SSX will have the same button configuaration as the PS2 version?
