Auto Modellista Online
« on: May 22, 2002, 11:19:32 AM »
Ever since Capcom confirmed online support for the Japanese release of Auto Modellista, gamers in North America have been clamoring for more information regarding internet support for the relase over here. Well, it appears that Sony has taken Auto Modellista under its online wings, as it has been given a prime viewing space in SCEA\'s online-gaming E3 website. This is outstanding news for a very promising title. Auto Modellista\'s cel-shaded graphics are only the icing on a serious amount of cake, with the ability edit your own instant replays, add screen effects, music and then save them for showing off to your friends. Choose from arcade single player and 1 hidden mode....hmmm....ONLINE anyone? Race with Mazda, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi, and Subaru. Customize tires, brakes, suspension, turbine kit, muffler, transmission and more. New screens below!

Edit your instant replays cool.

What seperates this from the rest of the pack?

Those pics are !@#$. The game looks much better in motion then in pics, primarily because it uses alot of special effects.

Dude, you pay your ISP. Its got nothing to do with Capcom. The reason Square are charging for FFXI is because of extra downloads, like bosses etc, I think...

Well I\'m wondering if they are going to be adding new tracks, cars, features, etc...I\'m assuming these will come at a price.

Its just gonna be like online shopping. They release the new model Skyline for example, and it\'ll cost you $12 to download it. Then you save it on the HDD.

Tracks would be more expensive I would say.

Has anyone seen that one cartoon show, Funky Cops or something like that? Very much reminded me of Auto Modellista... excellent cel-shaded action. Too many games to look forward to, damn... *back to reading physics*
