favorite pink floyd songs

That spin magazine thread got me thinkin about this. I\'m not a huge Pink Floyd fan, but many of my friends are and I wanna add to my mp3 collection. So what are your favorite Floyd songs? Mine include

Dogs, Don\'t Leave me Now, Hey You, Learning to Fly, Welcome to the Machine, Run Like Hell, Mother, Comfortably Numb, Wish You Were Here, Time
I bet when the neanderthal kids would make a snowman, someone would always end up saying, \"Don\'t forget the thick, heavy brows.\" Then they would all get embarrassed because they remembered they had the big hunky brows too, and they\'d get mad and eat the snowman.

that about sums up the ones I like also.  When they Toured back in 1994 I got a Pic when they Landed the Blimp at Kent State Airport here in ohio.......I even developed it in Photography class.....they liked it! If I could find the Pic I would scan it and post it.

Since I overdosed on Pink Floyd music as a child, and since I was raised in Phoenix where PF is still played on the radio constantly, there are many songs of theirs that I do not care to ever hear again.  For example, I basically learned the "Money" solo note for note when I was teaching myself guitar back then.  Now whenever I hear those coin noises at the beginning, I want to pull the knobs off the radio immediately.

Nevertheless, there are certain songs that I still like.  I think I still like listening to "Echoes."  The guitar solo on the live version from the "Pink Floyd at Pompeii" video is much better than the studio version.  I wore out my VHS tape studying it, and now I\'m hoping they eventually release the movie on DVD.  It\'s a good song, and it goes along well with the conclusion to "2001: A Space Odyssey."

I\'m surprised nobody mentioned anything off of "meddle"-

"fearless"

"one of these days"

"echoes"

or- anything off of "more" (hard to find movie soundtrack)

Like "nile song"

I just downloaded "On the Turning Point" with the Orchestra, I think it\'s from Delicate Sounds Of Thunder. It\'s an awesome song, good pick SonyFan
